Highway 174 Project Continues Into December

It was hoped that the two-season Highway 174 improvement project would be completed by Thanksgiving. Cal Trans Spokesperson Gilbert Mohtes-Chan says they’ve finished major work. The 27-million dollar project began in August of last year. It’s realigned several curves, widened shoulders, added a southbound left-turn pocket at Greenhorn Access Road, and improved the clear recovery zone for errant drivers to regain control.
