The Bear Yuba Land Trust 4th Annual Turkey Trek is Friday starting in Nevada City. Land Trust Trek Coordinator, Melony Vance says the hike begins at the Harmony Ridge Market on South Pine and Spring St in Nevada City. Bear Yuba Land trust will have a table set up in front of the Market from 10 AMĀ  to 2PM.

The Turkey Trek is a great way to learn about new trails. Each year the Trek highlights a different trail. The first year the new Hirshman’s Pond Trail was hiked, the second year was the Tribute Trail, and last year it was the Independence Trail outside of Nevada City.

Bear Yuba Land Trust staff will be handing out maps beginning at 10:00 AM Friday.
