Sgt. Perry says the report of the pedestrian turned out to be unfounded but the suspect vehicle had run into two other cars in the area of  Maltman and Joerski Drive before a witness who was following the truck reported him speeding up Brunswick towards Highway 174.  Grass Valley Police  requested the information be broadcast  to other agencies and officers in the area.  CHP officer Greg Tassone says they had a unit nearby.
