Hit and Run Homeless Victim

The CHP is looking for a pickup truck after a homeless man was struck in front of the Salvation Army. Highway Patrol Officer Justin Barnthouse says the man was on Alta Street Tuesday afternoon when he was struck by the right side of the pickup.

Of the four accidents, three have involved homeless people. Barnthouse says the pickup was black in color, possibly missing the passenger’s side mirror. The CHP is asking anyone with information on the possible suspect to call them at 477-4900.
