Holidays At Empire Mine Breaks Single Day Record

Opening Day for the two day, Holidays at Empire Mine, drew a record crowd Friday and attendance wasn’t bad on Saturday even with the rain. Park Aide Christian Latner said the park was bustling the day after Thanksgiving.

Latner said Saturday drew about 500 more visitors, and that was not bad for a rainy day.
A favorite at the event is a visit with Santa Claus. Santa said that he was busy on Friday.
