Home Fire Near Grass Valley Kills Occupant

One person is dead, after a two-story home was destroyed by fire late Tuesday afternoon near Grass Valley. Nevada County Consolidated Fire Battalian Chief, Josh Sunde, says it was on Ridge Road, near Manzanita Drive. It was already fully-involved by the time crews got there. And efforts to contain the blaze were also slowed by some volatile contents inside…

The cause or source of the blaze is not known.The name and age of the adult victim has not been released yet, nor whether the person was male or female.
