A home invasion robbery involving injuries is reported in the Grass Valley area. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says it occurred late Sunday night on Lost Lake Road. He says a husband and wife were getting ready to go to bed when they heard their dog barking. As the husband went to investigate, he saw two men enter the bedroom, with one armed with a handgun and the other with a metal pipe….

Royal says the victims, who appeared to be in their 60’s, were treated and released at the hospital. One suspect was also wearing a motorcycle helmet, the other had a partial face mask. They then ransacked the bedroom and living room and fled with small electronic items, cash, and jewelry. No arrests have been made yet…
