Home Sales Drop In Nevada County

Home sales took a significant dip in Nevada County, from October to November, similar to a number of counties in the Sacramento region. There was a 70-unit drop, to 165 units, according to CoreLogic. The new president of the Nevada County Association of Realtors, Greg Bullanti, says it was mainly due to anxiety over the new “Know Before You Owe” rule, from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, that went into effect…

CoreLogic says Nevada County is one of only three in the eight-county Sacramento region with a sales drop. Meanwhile, Bullanti says the Association’s average price rose another 10-thousand dollars, to 346-thousand dollars…

Bullanti says the average home price is also 11 and a half percent higher than a year ago. According to CoreLogic, Nevada County is one of only three in the eight-county Sacramento region that had a drop in sales.
