Horse Abuse Investigation Continues

Law enforcement and Animal Control Officials are still rounding up animals after one horse was found dead and another had to be euthanized over the weekend. The investigation began when Animal Control officers were called to check on the welfare of the animals on Auburn Road south of Grass Valley. They found one horse dead. A large animal rescue team from the Nevada County Consolidated Fire Department was also called in.
