House Fire on Oak Ridge Rd

Nevada County Consolidated Firefighters responded to a house fire Saturday morning around 6:45 a.m. in the 14-thousand block of Oak Ridge road.  Nevada County Consolidated Battalion Chief Jerry Funk says resources arrived  to find a large two-story residence with smoke showing from the roof area.

The blaze was contained  to the area of origin. No injuries were reported. Chief Funk says they have an idea on the cause fo the fire.

Because the home is located in a remote area off Indian Springs road ,   Cal-Fire, Penn Valley, Higgins and Rough and Ready Fire Departments all responded.
