Multiple Fire Departments are on scene with a residential structure fire in the 14-thousand block of S. Ponderosa Way just off McCourtney road this morning.  One man, believed to be the home owner  has been flown out by air ambulance with burns. Nevada County Consolidated Deputy Fire Marshal Terry McMahan is on scene  and tells what he sees.

Engines from Grass Valley, Nevada City, Nevada County Consoldiated, Cal fire, and Higgins Fire are on scene.  McMahon says the fire seems to be contained to the house and is not spreading  into area grasses, but  he  says the  firefighters will be out there for a while.

The roadway  is blocked on South Ponderosa  in front of the home on fire. People trying to leave that residential area off McCourtney road may have to wait.     PG and E crews have arrived on scene and power is now off to the area.
