Nevada County Solid Waste Program Manager David Garcia says you can also drop off those items. Staff will then examine the products to see if they are safe to be reused, and if they are, they’ll be made available for no charge. Other hazardous waste items such as light bulbs, batteries, and electronics can be taken to the transfer station any time durning business hours. The liquid items can be picked up or dropped off from 8am to 3:30pm Friday through Sunday.
