Humorous Speeches For the Public

An evening of laughter is promised this Friday September 21 at 6:30 PM at the Toastmaster’s Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest in Nevada City. The evening features select speakers from each of the Area 64 Toastmaster Clubs including Penn Valley, Mother Lode,  Early Risers and Empire. Area 64 Governor, Sharon Delgado says the format of the evening includes four speeches on humorous topics, a mystery speaker from outside of the area, and four evaluation speeches focused on the mystery speakers presentation. Each speech is five-to-seven minutes in length.
Delgado feels the evening is both educational as well as entertaining.*
