Motorists who use Highway 20 in Yuba County toward Marysville and Yuba City are seeing progress on two major improvement projects, although their patience continues to be tested. Cal Trans Public Information Officer Raquel Borrayo says one-way traffic controls are expected to stay in effect, 24 hours a day this week, between Loma Rica and Kibbe Roads, about seven miles from Marysville…
Borrayo says another major feature is the elevation of part of that stretch by around four feet, to eliminate dips that had poor visibility.Delays range from five to fifteen minutes. But Borrayo says that should end by Sunday, or perhaps sooner. Meanwhile, near Smartsville, drivers are expected to be shifted to a new, straighter, and wider two-mile stretch between September third and September 10th…
A new bridge is also featured. But Borrayo says one-way traffic controls will resume in that area on August 16th through the 21st for more repaving work.
