I-80 Detour Tuesday

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) advises motorists that westbound Interstate 80 will be subject to detour onTuesday, April 17 from 5:30 a.m. to    6:30 p.m. for combined maintenance operations. The detour will begin at Highway 20 for commercial vehicles and at Rollins Lake Road for passenger vehicles.

All commercial vehicles will be  directed west on Highway 20 to Highway 49 in Nevada City.  The detour will continue south on Highway 49 to Bell Road in Auburn.  Bell Road will return motorists to I-80 westbound.

All passenger vehicles will be  directed off Interstate 80  west on Rollins Lake Road to Highway 174.  The detour continues south on 174 to I-80 westbound.

Roadside message boards will be used to post the latest information.
