It’s been a couple of weeks now since we sprang forward with our clocks. I really enjoy the sun being up when I get home. It allows me to join my wife for the daily walking of the dogs.
We have a route we take, from our home to a local park, two or three laps around the park, then reverse course to return home. All in all it’s a pretty nice hike. A couple of miles and the dogs are worn out, as we are too. This time of year the trees are blooming, there are lots of pretty clouds in the sky, people are generally in a great mood. Last night, I saw something that hurt my eyes.
We were returning from the park, chatting about this and that, just enjoying each others company. My wife, in a shocked voice announces, “Oh My! You can see all the way onto that person shower!” We were walking past a two story home, and sure enough….you could see the homeowner in their shower cleaning up after a tough day at work. I only glanced, I’m not sure of the person’s gender, I really don’t want to know anyway.
There they were, lathering up, with their entire body on display to the world. I’m concerned on a couple of levels. This person wasn’t gonna stop traffic displaying them self as they were, but I’ve learned on thing about people it’s this. There is someone for everyone. A person you might find distasteful, could be my cup of tea. So, I guess this person could cause the traffic problems as well. My wife and I were on a public sidewalk, bordering a busyish street. This sight was available to passing traffic. Someone could become enchanted with this vision and run off the road!
So I’m trying to figure out the best way of telling this person about their show and tell. I suppose a note taped to their front door would be best. Of course the scary thing might be that this person finds the note encouraging . . . . . . .
