IFM Close to getting New Building

Interfaith Food Ministry is getting closer to their fundraising goal to purchase a new building, and for Executive Director Sue Van Son the purchase can’t come soon enough.    The organization that is now going into it’s 26th year feeding the hungry has seen an increasing need,  with  some  400 to 500 families coming to them for assistance every week.

Van Interfaith Food MinistriesSon says they also have some 450 volunteers to make room for which has made it quite cramped   in their present facility on Whiting Street.

VanSon says they have identified a building that is more than twice as big as their current location and has ample parking.  they just need to get the final dollars together. They are looking for auction items to be donated for an upcoming fundraiser.
