Illegal Fireworks Equals Fire Concern

Fire Danger is expected to be extremely high during the upcoming week including the Fourth of July holiday and CALFIRE is concerned about use of illegal fireworks.

Nevada City is the only area in Western Nevada County that safe and sane fireworks are allowed. In all other incorporated and unincorporated areas of the county there is zero tolerance for any fireworks.
