Imaginary Conversation Gets Suspect Arrested

A male subject having a loud conversation in an outside area near Rough and Ready prompted neighbors to call the sheriff around 7:30 AM Wednesday morning. According to Lt Steve Tripp deputies responding to the call found 45 year old Ray Kleinau in the vicinity yelling at a man named Joe. However Joe was no where to be seen.

Kleinau,-Ray1Talking to yourself or an imaginary person is not a crime. However Kleinau was displaying other signs that caught the deputy’s attention.

Deputies administered field tests confirming Kleinau was under the influence. A search turned up a glass meth pipe in his pocket.
Kleinau was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for being under the influence and possession of paraphernalia.
