Immunization Rates Up in Nevada County

Nevada County health officials have received some encouraging news. More parents are getrting their children vaccinated. County numbers have been among the worst in the state in recent years because parents were getting what are called ‘personal belief exemptions’, but a relatively new law now prohibits those. The rates are for children entering kindergarten, but vaccinations of preschoolers and seventh graders have also gone up.
