A man taken into custody in Grass Valley for being in the wrong place at the wrong time holding the wrong things. Grass Valley Police Lt. Steve Johnson says the subject caught the eye of an alert police officer.

The officer made contact and identified the subject as 34 year old Kenneth Greer. Greer could not give the officer a good reason for his being in the neighborhood at that time of night.

At that time Greer was taken into custody for his warrants and searched prior to being transported to the jail.

Greer was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, violation of probation, and the warrants.
