Two incumbents were re-elected to the Nevada joint Union High School District Board of Trustees Tuesday. The Area 3 trustee, Katy Schwarz, defeated challenger Jim Drew. Schwarz, like many board members across the state says a balanced budget and saving programs are her priorities. Schwatz says she wants to continue being a good board member.

District 4 incumbent, Jim Adams, was appointed two years ago to fill a vacancy, was elected outright for the first time Tuesday.
Adams is up for the challenge of solving fiscal issues facing the district.
