Independent Living Program Honored

The Nevada County Health and Human Services Department recently recognized five organizations and individuals that provide exceptional service to county residents. Department Director, Jeff Brown,  talks about the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools- Independent Living Program.

The number of students that are served through the Independent Living Program is over 100 and service and assistance is provided in a personal setting.

The Nevada County Superintendent of Schools program was honored as Outstanding Business or Government Organization.
Additional Community Partner awards include, Outstanding Community Organization, Outstanding Youth, and Outstanding Individual Community Members.
