An industrial accident at a local auto dealership lands a man in the hospital. According to Grass Valley Police Sgt. Jason Perry, police and fire personnel responded to a call for medical aid at a car dealership on Freeman Lane around 11:00 AM.
Sgt. Perry says apparently the vehicle was on a lift when the incident occurred.
An air ambulance was requested but was unable to assist.
After being stabilized at Sierra Nevada he was transported by ground ambulance to Mercy San Juan for further treatment. The extent of his injuries is not known at this time.
Perry says the incident is under investigation.
The garage area of the shop sealed until OSHA can conclude the physical investigation.
