The driver of the third vehicle, 29-year-old Victoria Ross of Wheatland, had moderate to major injuries. A 7-year-old girl inside had moderate injuries and a 6-year-old boy was not injured. Whether they are Ross’ children could not be verified by Tassone. The two occupants of the second vehicle, 56-year-old Phillip Zink and 21-year-old Sydney Zink, both from Nevada City, were also not injured.
