Inmate Dies In Wayne Brown Correctional Facility

A 40-year-old female inmate has died at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Department says Amy Morris, of Truckee, was discovered to be unresponsive in her cell, Tuesday morning. She had been arrested by Truckee Police on domestic violence charges Sunday night. The cause of death has not been determined yet, pending autopsy results.
