Sunday is International Women’s Day, and this year, Gather the Women of Nevada County is doing something a little different to celebrate. The women’s organization is screening a documentary film called ‘The Empowerment Project: Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things’. The screening, and Gather the Women’s 13th annual celebration is Sunday at 2pm at the Nevada Theater in Nevada City. Doors open at 1:30.
