Intoxicated Golf Cart Operator Lands In Hospital

A woman who apparently was driving a golf cart under the influence in Lake of the Pines ended up a with a helicopter ride to Sutter Roseville Hospital. Monday afternoon witnesses say that the woman was swerving on both sides of the road narrowly missing a FedEx truck. As the cart approached a slight downhill grade on Lakeshore North the driver lost control.

The golf cart continued rolling eventually coming to rest after striking a tree.

The woman driver received facial injuries including some broken teeth as well as other lacerations and injuries to her arms. The woman was also cited for driving under the influence.
