Intruder Enters Chicago Park Residence

It’s not common, but it happened to a Chicago Park couple. An intruder entered their home early Sunday morning. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says the homeowner on Chattering Pines Drive woke up at 5:30am, and went to watch television in another room. His wife woke up an hour later and saw a figure in her bedroom and thought it was her husband. When the woman later questioned her husband he informed her he hadn’t been in the bedroom for over a hour…

The Sheriff is encouraging people to lock their doors in the evening and asking anyone with any information on this crime to call his office at 265-7880.
