Investigation Leads To Drug/Weapons Suspect

A six month investigation into drug related activity in Western Nevada County led to the arrest of four suspects at a Grass Valley apartment complex Wednesday morning. Sheriff Keith Royal says officers have been watching subject, Samuel Wilson, 33 of Nevada City, as a potential drug trafficker.

Wilson,-Samuel1Officer obtained a search warrant and were waiting for the subject to return home. Wilson drove up to the residence around 2:00 AM Wednesday morning. Officers immediately detained Wilson and a second subject Ryan Seth Dentinger.

Dentinger was found to be in possession of hyrocodone pills and appeared under the influence. Officers then searched Wilson’s vehicle.

Sooto,-John1From the car, officers moved to the apartment where two more subjects were located. One suspect was well known by law enforcement.

Norton,-Heather1The second subject was female; she was also wanted by local authorities.

All four suspects were transported to the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility and booked on a variety of charges.
