Just went through what promises to be an emotional day for the rest of my life. October 1st. Two years ago, I was preparing to walk my oldest daughter, Katie, down the aisle on her wedding day in San Diego. That same morning, 3000 miles to the east in Jersey City, my Mom passed away in her home, losing her battle to cancer. Two years is a short time so the memories and emotions of that day are still very fresh. Glad I had the joy of the wedding to offset the grief of losing the greatest person that I have ever known. Miss my Mom each day…some days more than others. And big time on October 1st.
