Italian Festival This Weekend

After not being held last year, the Italian Festival has returned to Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley this weekend. Lloyd Young, with the Nevada County Italian Cultural Foundation, says he expects over three-thousand people to attend Saturday and Sunday, with, of course, food being a big draw…

Other notable features include a Bocce Ball tournament and a grape stomp competition. You can also find out if you have any Italian roots. The Italian Festival runs from 11am to 7pm tomorrow and Sunday. There is a 10-dollar admission charge, but it CAN be applied to BOTH days.
