It’s A Boy!

The first baby of the New Year at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is a boy, born to Amber and Colin Carmichael of Alta.

As is a tradition at the hospital a Radio Flyer Wagon full of gifts from local merchants and hospital staff is presented to the new parents and child.

Amber had to have a C-Section because the baby was breached, but she says  everthing went fine. Dr. Dahle was the family’s  obstetrician.
Dad, Colin Carmichael is a firefighter with Cal Fire in Colfax  and Mom, Amber works at Awful Annies Restaurant  in Auburn.   This is the couple’s first child.
