I bet everyone that has been a teenager in a car with friends played this game. At a stop light everyone jumps out of the car and runs around it laughing and screaming. It has a name that I’m not sure is politically correct anymore, so we shall leave the name out of my blog today.
This morning at the station a new twist on this game occurred to me. I mean sure it was fun when it was Dad’s car, and you were 18 or 19. As an adult, I bet no one has played that game in it’s original form.
But when a car’s alarm horn starts honking in the parking lot and no one can see who’s car it is – That’s A New Game!
Everyone was sure it was their own car honking away out there. I know that because by the time I got to the door, keys in hand, I was the last one outside! The responsible party, was the only person not pressing the “STOP IT” button on his key fob.
I was a little sad, no one and I mean NO ONE would want to steal my car. But I could sure use a new car . . . . . . .
