It’s almost here…just a little longer

Are you like me??  Do the political ads on our station and TV just put you over the edge at this point?  Each election they seem to get a little nastier and extreme.  So, thanks to those candidates and PAC’s that are running non-attack ads.  I know there are not too many of you out there, but you are appreciated, especially by a radio guy who hears all the ads with headphones on each and every morning.   The good news is Tuesday, November 6th, Election Day, is almost here and they all go away…until next time.

Thank you Tom! I am appalled by the low level of political ads these days. By the time anyone is elected to office, their constituents are so polarized that it becomes more and more difficult to accomplish anything. Ads should present a list of priorities, why the candidate feels these priorities are so important and what he/she would do to accomplish the goals presented and, finally, information about the candidates background and qualifications. We need to use our brains when deciding who will get our vote, not basing our vote on disgusting personal attacks. We need to decide based on who would be best for our community and our country. Any other way will cripple our future.
