It’s Property Tax Time in Nevada County

It’s that time of year.. .. Tax Time… not only is the income tax deadline on April 15th, Nevada County Property taxes are due on April 10th.
Nevada County Treasurer and Tax Collector Tina Vernon is reminding Nevada County property owners that the second installment must be postmarked or in her office by 5:00 PM or paid electronically by11:59 PM on Thursday April 10th.

The Drop Box will be available outside of the Rood Center beginning March 31st  and taken down at 5:00 PM April 10th.
If you haven’t received a tax bill a copy can be printed from the tax collector’s website on mynevadacounty.com
New this year Tina Vernon will be setting up an office in Truckee for a couple of days.
