Jealousy leads to Violence

A Grass Valley woman is under arrest after allegedly repeatedly beating her boy friend. Nevada County Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Powell says Deputies went to a Slate Creek Road home Monday night. The Captain says the victim said 23 year old Holly Albert of Grass Valley was very upset about another woman in her boyfriends life. Deputies were told the abuse had happened for several days before the victim reported it.

Powell said when Albert was taken into custody for suspicion of domestic violence and vandalism, a quantity of prescription pain killers were found. Albert did not have a prescription. She was booked at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
