The Jewell concert slated for this Thursday at the Grass Valley Veterans building is postponed . The popular singer has a back injury and will be postponing all of her upcoming Californa tour dates. A notice on the center for the arts website says:

We understand presenting concerts involves risks. Refunds on a show of this level present a significant financial hardship for The Center. We are a non-profit organization and we rely on these larger events to support our mission. We ask ticket holders who are able, please keep your existing tickets which will be honored for a soon-to-be-announced future Jewel concert date. Ticket-holders requiring a refund can call The Center box office during business hours. (Contact The Center box office at 530-274-8384 regarding ticket refunds.)

Those holding tickets to this concert may:
1. Hold your tickets until the reschedule date is announced
2. Call the Center box office for a refund. Note if your ticket is refunded, we cannot insure you will get a ticket for the new to be announced date. This concert was sold out.
3. Consider donating the value of the ticket to the Center and receive a tax deduction.
