Judgeship a Five-Way Race

The race for Superior Court Judge this year will have five candidates on the ballot. Yesterday was the filing deadline, and Penn Valley attorney Jeff Ingram turned in his paperwork just before 5pm. Ingram joins County Legal Research Attorney Angela Bradrick, Deputy District Attorney Anna Ferguson, ASA-Nevada County Attorney Jeff Lake, and South County Attorney Rob Tice-Raskin to replace retiring judge Sean Dowling. The primary race is in June. If no candidate gets a majority of the votes cast, a runoff between the top two candidates will be contested in November. Meanwhile, Judge Linda Sloven is seeking re-election, and is running unopposed.
