July 17 Robbers Fire Update

Firefighters are making progress on the Southeast and Northeast sides of the Robbers Fire burning in Placer County.  The fire, in its seventh day, is now listed at 50 percent contained.

2,650 acres have burned. One residence and four outbuildings have been lost.  2,206 people are involved in the fight against the fire. Estimated  Cost : $6.9 million.
