Just A Slight Change In Nevada Co Jobless Rate

It’s another seasonal increase for Nevada County’s unemployment rate. We’re up just two-tenths of a point, from October to November, at 5-point-2 percent. But Employment Development Department economist Paul Wesson says it’s still a point lower than a year ago…

Wesson also says there were 490 fewer unemployed residents, compared to November of last year…

The civilian labor force had an annual increase of 350. But despite the monthly rate going up a bit, Nevada County now has the 14th lowest jobless rate among the 58 counties, after being the 15th lowest for four straight months.
