Keeping My Eye’s Peeled

I spend a lot of my day driving.  2 hours round trip for a daily commute.  Sure I wish I didn’t have to, but until the real estate market comes around I’m stuck driving.  There is an upside, I get 2 hours to myself every day.  And that is something many people would really like to have.  I spend that time in a variety of ways, listening to different radio shows (stealing ideas sometimes – but that’s just between us), singing along with favorite songs (windows up only), enjoying the beauty that surrounds our everyday lives.  The scenery is something that many people seem to lose track of in their daily lives.  The color of the sky, the way the wind is moving the branches on the trees, the shapes and colors of the clouds.  When was the last time you noticed that stuff?

Then this morning I’m reading through all the stuff that has to be read through to prepare for a day doing a radio show and I see a scary story.  The clouds are lowering!  My first thought, did Henny Penny write this?  Nope, it comes from NASA and NOAH.  It seems the clouds have lowered about 1 percent in the past 10 years.

Now I have an other question, who do we pay to measure cloud height and what does that position pay?  Oh one more (a third question actually) how do I apply?  I have lots of hours to spend looking at the clouds anyway.  Maybe I can make some money while driving!
