Pins clattered and lots of laughs were had as the Nevada County community rallied around the Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Child Safety Day at Prosperity Bowling Lanes and the Beam Easy Living Center in Grass Valley over the weekend. Saturday was the Annual Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser and teams representing businesses, clubs, and other organizations from around the county bowled to raise dollars for the organization.  Grass Valley City Councilman and Kiwanis Club member, Howard Levine, participates because of the value Big Brothers and Big Sisters adds to kids lives in the area.

Levine, like many other bowlers of the day, didn’t want to take the risk for bowling poorly.

Child Safety Day was also taking place in the shared parking lot of Prosperity Lanes and the Beam Easy Living Center, and Levine participated with the Kiwanis Club in both events.
