The man accused of the brutal attack of 78 year old Mary Grace Tassone at St Patricks church July 6th was in court yesterday but did not enter a plea. Additional charges have been filed against 50 year old Alan Kierkegaard, including attempted homicide with premeditation, kidnapping and carjacking, with a special allegation of causing grievous bodily injury to an elderly victim. he is set to return to court August 6th.
Yesterday afternoon Mary Grace’s family posted on www.caringbridge.org an update on her condition saying “Mary Grace has continued to make slight improvements. However, due to the intensive/acute therapy she is undergoing, the medical staff is making a few changes:
Effective immediately, they want to stop all visiting with the exception of immediate family. Even then, they only want family visiting for very short periods of time. The doctors feel she needs significant rest at all times except for when they are performing their therapy work.
