Kiwanis Art for Youth Benefit

The Arts have been proven to be an important way of engaging all categories of youth. At risk youth find it a way to become engaged, while honor students find art as a challenge other than the standard education process. With funding for the arts in schools dwindling, Gold Country Kiwanis member Howard Levine says they have launched a Youth Benefits and Education Foundation to fund youth opportunities in the arts in Nevada County.
