KNCO is proud to have received a Dame Cicely Saunders Award from Hospice of the Foothill’s during their recent Circle of Care donor recognition event.  Dame Cicely is the founder of the modern hospice movement in America.  Named for her, this distinctive award recognizes the exceptional generosity of members of the Circle of Care and the community.

KNCO was grateful  to receive the award for  the station’s long-time interest in and support of Hospice of the Foothill’s programs through numerous on-air interviews, PSA’s, and Jail and Bail.  Accepting the award were KNCO Program Manager, Tom Fitzsimmons, and Nevada County Broadcasters Chair, Ed Sylvester and President, Scott Robertson.
