KNCO Turkey Drive Today

The need may be greater this year because of the wildfires, but because of the wildfires, there was less time to organize. Today is the annual KNCO Turkey Drive, being held at the SaveMart parking lot in Grass Valley. The purpose of the drive is to provide food and money to the Food Bank of Nevada County, which will then provide a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to needy families. Candelaria says he didn’t want to set a goal for this year’s drive, but did say collecting 200 turkeys would be nice. The drive continues until six o’clock tonight.
