Lakes Full Or Near Full Going Into Water Season

Thanks to a wet winter, at least for the North State, lakes ar full or near-full for the Memorial Day weekend. NID Recreation Manager Peggy Davidson says there are no camping reservations available at Scotts Flat and Rollins Lakes, which are at 100-percent capacity. Davidson says the revenue also helps offset NID’s maintenance costs. Elsewhere…storage at Lake Oroville, Englebright Lake, and Bullards Bar is at over 90-percent of capacity. Storage at Oroville is twice what it was a year ago.
