Late Evening Explosion in Grass Valley

Maybe you heard the lound noise…sounded like an explosion on Mill street between 8:30- 9 o’clock last night….. Firefighters and police were immediately dispatched. and Grass Valley Fire Chief Jim Turner says they could not find any evidence of what had produced the large bang, but they believe it was an incendiary device.

They determined what ever it was, was set off on the 400 block of Mill Street. The party responsible for setting off the explosion has not been located.
