Possible Homicide on Banner Mountain

A late night fight in the Banner Mountain area led to a 911 call and an emergency response by Nevada County Sheriff’s officers. Sheriff Keith Royal says the incident began shortly after 11:00 PM.

Multiple agencies are supporting the investigation into the incident.

The male victim appears to be in his forties. His identity has yet to be confirmed.
